REGULAÇÕES CLIMÁTICAS E A PERSPECTIVA DE MITIGAÇÃO E ADAPTAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: VIABILIDADES DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DOS SISTEMAS DE TRANSIÇÃO NO CONTEXTO BRASILEIRO PARA O COMBATE ÀS MUDANÇAS CLIMÁTICAS
Resumo
Diante dos efeitos negativos do aquecimento global, os países precisam adotar um sistema de transição sustentável, reduzindo consideravelmente a emissão de gases do efeito estufa. Este trabalho tem por objetivo verificar a possibilidade de aderência, pelo Brasil, às propostas promovidas em âmbito internacional para o combate e mitigação dos efeitos das mudanças climáticas. O método de pesquisa utilizada é o dedutivo, tendo por base pesquisa bibliográfica. O trabalho apresenta o contexto histórico das iniciativas decorrentes da preocupação climática em âmbito internacional. Analisa-se também políticas e planos promovidos no Reino Unido e nos Estados Unidos, traçando um paralelo com a legislação brasileira. Aborda-se ainda a governança climática como mecanismo para o processo de transição sustentável. A pesquisa destaca que é relevante ao Brasil a observância das experiências empreendidas internacionalmente, com a apropriação de elementos que melhor se adequem ao contexto nacional.
